Imagine 8 days in Cambodia with unhealthy water which smells like rust, floods almost everywhere, uneven roads, dogs roaming around, flies all around you, small kids begging, some of our members falling sick.. Yet, we still had tons of fun. For the first 5 days in Siem Reap, we slept in Quality Learning International School(QLIS). Surprisingly, the director of the school was a Sporean. Anyway, the accomodation was great, we slept in an air-conditioned room and they even standby cup noodles incase we're hungry late at night. We did a lot of interaction, cultural exchange, cleaning up their place, cementing, painting and of course shopping. In Siem Reap, we went to 2 places of interest; Angkor Wat and Tonle Sap River. On the night after we went to Angkor Wat, something unexpected happened. Wont say it here. Oh before i forgot, we even had campfire on day 3 and a tour around the paddy field. It was once in a life time!
On day 6, we had to fly off to Phnom Penh. Everyone agreed that Siem Reap was soo much better than Phnom Penh. Prolly because of the hectic traffic in Phnom Penh and no-interaction with the tour guide. But one good thing is, we stayed in a hotel and my room mate is Nanad(: Sure, there's a lot of gossips. Haha. On day 7, Nanad and I woke up really late and we rushed to get ready. We were the only one left in the hotel. The rest were already at the orphanage. Anyway, it was an eye opener looking at the children or should i say babies. They looked really happy despite being disabled. I nearly teared when one of the baby smiled whenever i let him touch me )': And in Phnom Penh, we also went to 2 places of interest; King's Palace and Killing Fields. It wasn't much though.
